Eros Heart, Quiksilver, Roxy, Meeko Meeko, Bare Rose (SL) and Eastpak
DJ need new tunes to freshen up their mix, and house music event goers need to keep upgrading their mix of party outfits. We just made it easy for you to pick from the top brands and styles at Salonista House Music Fashion Collection - Japan's first ever fashion event to celebrate the fashion brands associated with twenty years of house music. The house genre never died because it stayed close to the underground and its beats and styles have kept changing, but the irrepressibly positive vibe of this genre has stayed true to its beginnings. Our stylists checked out what all the top house DJs are wearing, and which great urban fashion designers have played house at their events, and we put it all together in one perfect package for you. Including great DJs, VJs, dancers and live house music to keep the party pumping until late.

. Need Brand ideas for the segments to fit with House Music Fashion - punk, goth, cyber, furry, realistic etc so we can decide and rehearse
. Decide on above soon please - need logos of the virtual brands so we can add them to flyer design which we'll email around
. Need announcer for RL club to announce the SL fashion segment, introduce brands, models, outfits
. Need to rehearse with above brands and models to fine tune the performance and coordination cues from rl to sl. Can stream RL club sounds into SL
. Promote in SL and RL
. Decide on the best strategy for managing the SL event to ensure low lag for a great visual performance but has enough people to make it look full and funky.
Basic plan:
3 x 5 minute SL runway segments to slot into the RL show [see below]

Each segment to demonstrate a different fashion aspect: ex realistic, anime, cyber, furry etc

“SALONISTA” HOSTS JAPAN’S FIRST FASHION EVENT TO CELEBRATE HOUSE MUSIC FASHIONS – INCORPORATING VIRTUAL (SECONDLIFE: SL) AND REAL WORLD (RW) FASHION SHOWS
“Salonista” hosts Japan’s first fashion event to celebrate House Music Fashion. Dance Music fashions are taking center stage at “Salonista’s” second Street Fashion Collection Party on Tuesday, November 13th, from 6:30pm until midnight.
Fashion brands -- Eros Heart, Quiksilver, Roxy, Meeko Meeko, Bare Rose (SL) and Eastpak will be featured at Stereo Roppongi’s second event of the Fall season celebrating one of the pioneer musical formats in the club scene – House Music.
Bare Rose will show three types of collections, alternating on a virtual catwalk in SecondLife with real world models on the catwalk in Roppongi Stereo. Three types of clothing lines will be modeled: realistic humans clothing, anime, and cyberpunk. Entertainment is by DJs: LADYBiRD, WILL2LIVE, DJ Alekai, VJs: LightRythym Visuals, VJ Flux, and with a performance by acclaimed house music dance unit Meisai (Tokyo Progressive Style Dance Performance)
Top urban fashion brands have been leading the club fashions for DJ’s and party goers for more than 20 years. Several top hairstylists have checked out what top House DJs are wearing, identified great urban fashion designers and put it all together into one package for the “Salonista” event. During the House Music Fashion Party, models will be walking the catwalk, high profile hair stylists will be showing off their latest creations and DJs will be pumping up the latest jams.
Urban fashion brands have played a major role in creating House Music Fashion. “We decided to put on an event that celebrates their contribution to one of the original club cultures. The House Music genre never died because it stayed close to the underground street culture”, according to Jon Lynch, manager of the “Salonista” Street Fashion Collection Parties and publisher of hot trendsetting free magazines, Juice and Club Juice. “The beats and styles have been changing, but the positive vibe of this genre has stayed true to its beginnings”, Lynch added.

“Salonista” hosts Japan’s first fashion event to celebrate House Music Fashion. Dance Music fashions are taking center stage at “Salonista’s” second Street Fashion Collection Party on Tuesday, November 13th, from 6:30pm until midnight.
Fashion brands -- Eros Heart, Quiksilver, Roxy, Meeko Meeko, Bare Rose (SL) and Eastpak will be featured at Stereo Roppongi’s second event of the Fall season celebrating one of the pioneer musical formats in the club scene – House Music.
Bare Rose will show three types of collections, alternating on a virtual catwalk in SecondLife with real world models on the catwalk in Roppongi Stereo. Three types of clothing lines will be modeled: realistic humans clothing, anime, and cyberpunk. Entertainment is by DJs: LADYBiRD, WILL2LIVE, DJ Alekai, VJs: LightRythym Visuals, VJ Flux, and with a performance by acclaimed house music dance unit Meisai (Tokyo Progressive Style Dance Performance)
Top urban fashion brands have been leading the club fashions for DJ’s and party goers for more than 20 years. Several top hairstylists have checked out what top House DJs are wearing, identified great urban fashion designers and put it all together into one package for the “Salonista” event. During the House Music Fashion Party, models will be walking the catwalk, high profile hair stylists will be showing off their latest creations and DJs will be pumping up the latest jams.
Urban fashion brands have played a major role in creating House Music Fashion. “We decided to put on an event that celebrates their contribution to one of the original club cultures. The House Music genre never died because it stayed close to the underground street culture”, according to Jon Lynch, manager of the “Salonista” Street Fashion Collection Parties and publisher of hot trendsetting free magazines, Juice and Club Juice. “The beats and styles have been changing, but the positive vibe of this genre has stayed true to its beginnings”, Lynch added.
